All about Bear Hug

It all started 7 years ago with The Big Booth (our original company), using our photographic and creative skills to put together a unique open air Photo Booth business. Over the years we have grown and grown and now as well as offering the ultimate Photo Booth experience we’re excited to be able to add handmade Light Up Letters, Cinema Light Boxes and Festoon Lights for hire AND professional DJs to soundtrack your evening. Here’s a snapshot of our wedding and the very first Photo Booth, way back in 2010!

So what makes us the experts?

Well Tom is a photography graduate who decided that he wanted to make stuff instead of take pictures so off he went to train in London as a set builder.
One of his highlights was building installations for Ralph Lauren window displays on Bond Street and in Milan. Tom is the brains and brawn behind our Photo Booths,
Light Up Letters and DJ decks, if he’s not in his man cave designing and building, he’s out Photo Boothing. Other main activities include playing peek-a-boo with our
baby bear or fishing local rivers.

Emma is a Graphic Designer and Art Director who has worked on events and in fashion for over 10 years. She’s worked in New York, London, Liverpool and Manchester to name-drop a few! Whether you need a logo designing or a photo shoot organising, she’s your man. Her clients include Very., Marks and Spencer, House of Fraser, Mamas and Papas and The Body Shop. Emma designs all our branding, props and is chief organiser behind the scenes, secretly enjoying an excel spread sheet or two.

Team Bear Hug

We can’t do it alone so we have three crack-teams of official fully trained Photo Boothers – one of which will attend your event to make sure you and your guests are getting the maximum fun out of your booth experience. Here’s some outtakes, it’s a pretty fun job!
